Reviewer zone

Reviewers play an essential part in science and in scholarly publishing. For more than 300 years, scientists and scholars have relied upon peer-review to validate research, engage other specialists in the support of submitted work, and increase networking possibilities within specific specialist communities. AfJEM is no different. All original submissions to AfJEM pass through a rigorous double-blinded peer review process, with each submission reviewed by a minimum of two reviewers as well as an editor; submissions with complex statistical content are usually further reviewed for accuracy.  AfJEM looks upon the peer-review process as an additional layer of mentoring for authors.  It is supplemented through our novel Author Assist programme.
